Bindlestiff Studio, a non-profit organization, has been an epicenter of Filipino American art since 1997 It has been host to over 300 artists of various disciplines. Since then Bindlestiff has been a home to groudbreaking performances and productions by Asian American artists. Chocolate Milk will be the first fashion production to take place at Bindlestiff Studio, in an effort to further expose Asian American designers to the community. All proceeds from door sales will be donated to the Bindlestiff Studio capital campaign. An unconventional approach in displaying fashion, Chocolate Milk combines both fashion and stage production, in an effort to challenge perceptions of Asian Americans in fashion.
