"li si" time: the young wishes the old a happy new year (and vice versa)

i recorded my lil cousins wishing ME a happy new year. it was the greatest thing because they were all helping each other out. i asked them to speak in vietnamese, so sadly they all had trouble! cousins on the sidelines would whisper all these new year phrases so the cousin that is up wouldn't blank out... it was cute and good teamwork! i ended up needing some help from my lil cousins when it was my turn to pay respects to my dad and wish him a happy new year. here is my cuzzo philip wishing me a happy new year (so i could give him lucky money). i'm trying to embarrass him by posting this photo up cuz i love him! we grew up like brother and sister and i'm very thankful to have him in my life! we got all emotional and both started crying. the whole family didn't understand why we were crying so all the aunties and uncles started laughing uncontrollably! then their laughter turned into tears! it was a crazy fun moment! now here's a photo of us:
